I highly recommend Hanok Korean Language School for anyone who loves to learn Korean language and their culture. I like how they force us to speak and communicate in Korean through flash cards, games, and make sentences out of the words and grammar that we had learned. Still continue going for my class and will learn as much as I can.

Teachers are friendly and patient. Classes are also very engaging.
Apart from the standard textbook materials, there are also materials prepared by the school to provide students with more chances to practice the language.
Hanok website also provides a platform for students to use their online assessment as a form of revision.
Overall, I enjoyed my korean study experience here!

It has been 9mths since I started at Hanok Korean Language School. The reason for choosing this school was because of the close proximity to my house. However, after attending it, I totally love it.

I am currently in Basic 3 class. I am confident that I can read, write and hold a basic conversation in korean. There is definitely alot to learn. From vocabulary to grammar, every week lesson is fun and interesting. You definitely need revision to catch up as the teaching pace will be faster as you move up the levels.

I love how my teacher encourages us to practise talking to one another. It forces me to think about how to use the word in basic form rather than memorising it.

I love how the school materials and homework are very much alike as it reinforces my learning.

I love the little translation test at the end of the class which helps us to link everything we learn to real use.

I love how my teacher made us say simple things like 안녕히 가세요/계세요 and 다음 주에 만나요 at the end of the class. It helps me to appreciate the not just the language, but the culture as well.

I definitely wish class size should not be too big. I attended 8. 15pm class before with a total of 16 students. The classroom can be too small and very noisy, thus not conducive for learning.

Other than that, Hanok is definitely a great school for learning Korean! 🙂
